So I had made a list of resolutions at the beginning of the year. And did I accomplish them??? Hell no. Let’s recap:




- Start working out again (atleast 3x/week)
[This SO did not happen. Unless you count walking my dogs really quickly, three times a day so they can pee and crap]


- new Crushes list
[I kept my old one. BC frankly, Im too lazy to create a new one. Plus, I think Im done having them. Guys as friends are awesome, amazing… But Im too impatient or too scared to pursue or think of something more than that with guys.]



- complete 10 paintings by June
[Currently on Number 8. So this obviously did not get accomplished. New goal is by the end of the year. We’ll see. ]



- read Kite Runner
[I read half of this book. And its so much more amazing than the movie (which I thought was powerful). Definitely going to finish by the new year. ]

- tell a guy I love love him and mean it
This will be my hardest resolution… it may not even happen…. [Go figure. Hasn’t happened. Didn’t happen. When I meet him, Ill know. ]

- live life w/o a roomie
[Wahooo!!! Accomplished! It was full of ups and downs spending two years with my old roomie but I would definitely do it all over again. Living alone has been really nice. But sometimes I do miss the gossiping or catching up on our days. I miss the laughter.



- graduate
I'll cry.[well… I didn’t cry because I never walked. But there was a strong sense of accomplishment and pride.Thankyouverymuch!]



- visit my dad more often
[I haven’t even gone by to his site at all this year. To go to his resting spot is really just to pay respects. Sadly, it just reminds me that he’s gone, he’ll never be back, and Im left still thinking about the moments in the future I wish he could have been a part of. THIS I must do before the year is over . ]



- be more ladylike
[I still talk and make jokes like a sailor. But I cook, bake, and clean more. And that’s VERY ladylike, right? Wife material, Id say ]



- make bridges…not burn them
[I made a shitload of bridges this year, rebuilt one, and tore down another. Im a freakin construction company. ]

I was reading some of my old blogs and damn they were so lengthy. Hope I dont do that in this one. I forget sometimes that its not always something you should pour your heart out onto. And it’s sometimes better to say less.


I usually think too much and I always want to capture it on paper/typing it so I can get a clearer head. And sometimes that takes the mystery away from getting to know me.


But if you knew what a jokester I was in person or how unserious I usually am out there, you’d appreciate the lengthy blogger in me… Because those are the rare times, you see beyond just the surface.

One last thing. Picture of the day. I hope one day, they can position themselves into the shape of the Virgin Mary or Jesus and then ill be famous. But baby steps for now. I heart these guys.

— and as always… at the end of the day… there’s so much more than me, my tiny problems. Forever and ever I’ll always feel blessed. The sadness and pain in the world that I never see on a daily basis goes beyond my imagination. Thank god for the people willing to risk their lives so we can live ours as freely as we can. Happy Veteran’s Day!
